of product terms giving some insight into various fabric
characteristics. Our products can provide combinations
of these properties to suit your specifc end use.

CHARACTERISTICS

ANTI-STATIC
|
The capability to dissipate
electrical charge. This can be achieved by using conductive
yarns. Topical finishes can also be applied to standard
fabric bases
to provide
this
characteristic
for less critical end uses.

ANTIMICROBIAL
| Modern
antimicrobial technology is used to inhibit the growth
of bacteria, a major cause of body odour. The
use of silver technology gives a safe natural antimicrobial
agent in both yarns and topical finishes. The use of
antimicrobial yarns gives permanent 24 hour freshness.
Topical finishes can also be applied to any fabric
base to give the same benefits in wear, with proven durability.

|
CHLORINE RESIST
| Stretch without the use of conventional means;
namely elastane which degrades in chlorine. These products
use different yarns to give 100% chlorine resist
for stretch
products
in
swimwear.

|
CONDUCTIVE
| High
tech fabrics knitting from conductive yarns used for
electrical/electronic components.
|
|
ENCAPSULATION
| Scented or "cosmetic" chemicals (such as aloe vera,
vitamin E, geranium oil) trapped within micro capsules
that can be applied to a wide variety of our products.
Such properties can be retained for as many as 20 washes
|
|
ENGINEERED
| The specific placement of different constructions
within a fabric, for example, seam free garments. This
may also include the engineered placement of different
yarns to achieve the desired effect. These fabric constructs
simplify garment manufacture consolidating
different panels into one. This can enhance comfort
for the end user because
of fewer seams.

|
FINISHES
| Chemical finishes used to enhance properties such
as waterproofing, handle, wicking or "well-being" encapsulation.

|
JACQUARD
| Bespoke design construction on both warp and weft
knit fabrics. Almost anything is possible with this technology;
mesh body panels, florals, geometrics, text or your company
insignia

|
MICROFIBRE
| Ultra fine filament yarns used to produce a soft,
smooth handle.
| 
|
MOISTURE MANAGEMENT
| Use of yarn construction or topical finishes to give
moisture wicking characteristics to fabrics. This means
drawing moisture away from the body.

|
NATURAL HANDLE
| Cotton simulation but with the performance and easy
care characteristics of synthetic yarns that are kinder
on the environment
| 
|
SELVEDGE
| A
clean selvedge is knitted into the fabric for seamfree
garments. The selvedge panel can be made to provide a
contrast lustre effect to the main panel and
be of varying width. Additional power can be built into
these areas to do the job of
a sewn
in
elastic.

| Thermalite
provides warmth and comfort without weight - even when
wet. Made woith hollow fibres that trap air for greater
insulation. Plus, the wearer stays drier because it dries
20% faster than other insulating fabrics and 50% faster
than cotton. Thermolite is the perfect layering fabric
because it's comfortable and lightweight, allowing more
freedom of movement.

A
silver-coated textile fibre that enhances fabrics with
permanent and natural anti-odour, anti-statis and thermodynamic

ANTI-ODOR
Uses pure silver to inhibit the growth of

THERMODYNAMIC
Silver is the most reflective and conductive
element. This fabric will keep you more
comfortable in all temperatures.
ANTI-STATIC
Silver instantly dissipates electrostatic charges.
